Mission
Through programs, events, and religious services, the Machtley Interfaith Center is dedicated to:
- Providing Bryant members of various faith traditions a setting in which they may conduct worship in their traditions, and gather for fellowship, religious study, and religious programs.
- Promoting increasing awareness of the world’s various faith traditions with the aim of developing our “religious literacy”, and fostering understanding and respect for people of different faith traditions than our own.
- Acknowledging the spiritual dimension of life for all human beings and to promote the idea that the exploration of religious and spiritual questions, issues, values, and aspirations, in an informed, respectful milieu in which a variety of viewpoints are a part of the discussion, is appropriate to an academic community.

Religious Services
Bryant University is committed to the spiritual development of all students via non-traditional and traditional (ministry) approaches. Programs are offered throughout the campus to challenge students to develop as a whole person.
The chaplains who serve the Bryant community are eager to inform you of spiritual and social events available to all members of the University family. Catholic, Jewish, Muslim, and Protestant chaplains are available to all members of the University community as sources of support, guidance, and spiritual development and integration. The campus chaplains are also available to participate in programs and discussions sponsored by faculty, resident assistants, campus groups/clubs, and individual students.
Campus Ministry works together to serve you and offers a number of Interfaith/Ecumenical celebrations throughout the year (e.g., Family and Friends Weekend services, Festival of Lights, Baccalaureate Services).
