The Office of Financial Aid offers a number of programs to help students finance their education. Options include scholarships, grants, loans, and part-time employment.

To apply for aid, you will complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). This is a necessary step in order to determine your eligibility for federal and institutional need-based aid. The deadline for filing the FAFSA for first-year students is February 15, and the deadline for continuing Bryant University students is March 1. (For transfer student deadlines, see "Important Dates" below.) The best option is to complete the web-based version of the FAFSA, known as FAFSA on the Web. It includes step-by-step instructions for completing the online FAFSA as well as pre-application worksheets. You can obtain an FSA ID to electronically sign the form here

Please note that the Title IV school code for Bryant University is 003402.

Important Dates

October 1 - February 15 - Time period for first-time student applications to file the FAFSA
November 15 - Deadline for January transfer applicants to file the FAFSA or add the Bryant University school code to an existing FAFSA
March 1 - Deadline for Bryant University's returning students to file the FAFSA
April 1 - Final deadline for filing FAFSA for September transfer applicants
Application deadlines for state scholarship and grant programs are listed in the instruction section of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

Tuition & Fees: $46,863.00

Room & Board: $15,893.00

Books and Supplies: $1,400.00

Total Cost: $64,156.00

Full Time Tuition for Traditional Students

The full-time tuition fee for all students includes a $422 Student Activity Fee. In addition to tuition, this fee covers all costs associated with attending Bryant, other than room and board. Such costs include: laboratory fees, health services, participation in intramural sports, use of athletic facilities, and a subscription to The Archway (University newspaper). The full-time tuition fee also includes the cost of providing each student personal use of a laptop computer that is fully loaded with software and network-ready. Prior to the beginning of the student's junior year, the laptop will be exchanged for an updated model. This two-year "renewal cycle" ensures that students always have access to the latest available technology. Students will have the option of purchasing the laptop at the end of their sophomore and/or senior years. There are no separate fees for technology at Bryant University.

Payment and Billing

Bills are electronically sent to a student's Bryant University email address by the Bursar's Office. Students should follow the instructions in the first email they receive from the Bursar's Office to add Authorized Users to their billing account.  Bills reflecting fall semester expenses are emailed in mid-July. Payment for the fall semester is due in the second week of August. Bills reflecting spring semester expenses are emailed in mid-December. Payment for the spring semester is due in the second week of January. Late payments may result in a $150.00 late fee assessment by the Bursar.
